Public Relations Authoring

Public Relations is not a thing for just the wealthy or large company to consider. It is a facet of your business that needs attention - all the time. There are the basics like your business cards, letterhead, and fax cover sheet, but what I am talking about here is the meat and potatoes of propagating your message to the masses. I try my best to keep things fair. I keep hearing these horror stories of having a website developed, spending thousands of dollars then poof, no support. Well I embraced the service industry over a couple of decades and took some of that wisdom with me.

It's best to see it by example:

  • www.servicewriterbook.com - Extremely simple, based on a template and requires very little upkeep. (develop = $400.00 / mo maint. $49.95)
  • www.freetrackday.org - Development is middle of the road. Used a Flash template and spent about 20 hours tweaking it. Once built, the maintenance portion is fairly simple. Monthly I'll have to update events and product listings. (develop = $3550.00 / mo maint $75.00)
